About the people
Across India, many artisan families continue to practise traditional techniques that have shaped local communities for centuries.
In the valleys of Kashmir, weaving, embroidery and pashmina-making remain a way of life. Families in the village rear sheep and goats in the Himalayan region, obtaining wool through a seasonal cycle of shearing. The fleeces are then cleaned, spun, and woven into natural fibres that are transformed into beautifully woven scarves and shawls using skills honed over generations.
Kashmir's renowned pashmina tradition traces its roots back hundreds of years. Known for its exceptional softness, warmth and lightness, authentic pashmina is the result of remarkable craftsmanship, from the careful sourcing of fibres to the intricate weaving and embroidery that can take weeks or even months to complete.
Elsewhere in India, artisans continue the centuries-old practice of hand block printing. Skilled makers carve intricate patterns into wooden blocks before printing each design by hand onto silk and cotton fabrics. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, giving every scarf and stole its own character.
We are also proud to work with makers who create Kantha textiles in West Bengal. Traditionally crafted by women using layers of repurposed fabric and distinctive running stitches, Kantha is one of the earliest examples of recycling and upcycling in textile traditions.

I’ve carefully selected scarves and accessories made from natural fibres such as fine wool, merino wool, pashmina, silk and cotton, chosen for their comfort, durability and timeless appeal. Unlike synthetic fabrics that can feel harsh, lose their shape or deteriorate with wear, natural fibres age beautifully and are designed to be enjoyed for years.
My passion for
Many of our woollen scarves are woven from fine wool and merino wool, prized for their natural softness, breathability and ability to regulate temperature. Lightweight yet warm, these fibres provide comfort without bulk and maintain their appearance season after season when cared for properly.
Among the world's most celebrated natural fibres, pashmina has been woven in Kashmir for centuries. Known for its remarkable softness, warmth and feather-light feel, genuine pashmina is valued not only for its luxurious qualities but also for the skill required to transform delicate fibres into finished shawls and scarves.
Silk has long been admired for its ability to feel both luxurious and effortless. Whether woven into lightweight scarves or blended with other natural fibres, it brings depth, movement and sophistication to everyday dressing.
Soft, breathable and comfortable throughout the seasons, cotton provides the perfect canvas for artisan craftsmanship. The beauty of hand block printing lies in its individuality; slight variations and imperfections are a reflection of the human hand rather than machine uniformity, making every piece subtly unique.
