Setting off from home at 6am for a 7am start in Primrose Hill, was a day I didn’t know what to expect. It was my first time at a market in Central London so yes, I was hopeful for possibilities, however, it was cold and grim for May with rain forecasted for much of the day and a full day of trading 9:00am to 6pm.
From early hours, the local community came out in full force for the summer festival, clearly a much-loved event in the calendar, people on morning walks, returning from dog walks or a Zumba class or out for a weekend brunch.
The love and appreciation from the community, as they discovered the colours, craftsmanship and quality behind each piece at Stoles & More, was heart-warming. Customers from all walks of life stopped by - from local families and expats to American visitors buying meaningful gifts for loved ones back home. There were mums choosing special gifts for their husbands and daughters, and even a little girl who happily tried on stoles and became a mini model for her mum. Some customers walked away with one piece, while others fell in love with the collection and bought five items in one go, sharing how much they loved the beautiful colours, premium feel and attention to detail of the stoles and bags. Seeing people connect with these handmade pieces reminded me exactly why Stoles & More was created - to bring timeless, elegant accessories that carry stories of an artisan who has made them with so much love and talent.
The day brought some real pinch-me moments - a conversation with a well-known store owner interested in exploring a potential collaboration, and a very special personal moment of introducing Stoles & More to none other than film maker Gurinder Chadha -a total fan moment! ❤️🤩 The weather stayed kind, the local community showed up with so much warmth, and @primrosehillfestival was everything a small business owner could hope for.
I’m deeply grateful to everyone who stopped by, smiled, shopped, felt the quality and care behind each product, and supported this growing journey. Every conversation, every compliment and every purchase means so much.

The day was made even better by having the most amazing stall neighbours, @hiveandkeeper and @rooh_london, who brought laughter, support and great company throughout the day – it was a pleasure to meet them.
